RIA's AI in Jewellery Design programme connects traditional jewellery literacy — Indian and contemporary forms, materials, settings and wearability — with CAD, generative motif exploration and vision-assisted quality workflows.

You progress from client brief to manufacturable thinking: AI helps explore ornament systems quickly; CAD and craft constraints decide what can be cast, set and worn. Capstones deliver a small collection with renders and production notes.

Common questions

  • Do you teach only AI image generation for jewellery?

    No. The programme pairs jewellery craft literacy and CAD with generative ideation, QC awareness and a manufacturable collection mindset.

  • Is Matrix or Rhino mandatory?

    We teach jewellery CAD conceptually and through studio practice pathways used in industry; tool emphasis is on manufacturable modelling and presentation, not a single vendor lock-in.

  • Can heritage jewellery styles be used with AI?

    Yes — with constraints. Heritage references require respectful motif use, human review and clear IP / cultural guidelines.
